Quasar are this year鈥檚 winners at the University of Cambridge band competition
Student band Quasar was crowned the winner of this year鈥檚 University of Cambridge band competition, Take it to the Bridge, featuring Clare student Safiya Tiotto-Smith.
Quasar performed their unique blend of hip-hop and jazz to an audience of over 500 at the Junction and comfortably won a majority vote.
As the winner of this year鈥檚 event, the band has claimed a slot on the mainstage at the Cambridge Club Festival this summer, joining a lineup of world-renowned artists including Chaka Khan, Sister Sledge, Melanie C, and Jessie Ware.
Now in its second year, the competition celebrates excellence in pop music within the University. Congratulations to all finalists!
